Shipping policy
How much does delivery cost?
- We charge £2.45 per delivery address.
- We offer FREE delivery for orders over £25.00.
How long does it take to process & ship my order?
- We aim to process orders, at the latest, the next business day after receiving your order.
- We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 for despatching our orders.
- You will receive an email notification when your order has been despatched and you will also receive a Royal Mail tracking number.
- At peak times, such as Christmas and Easter, there may be delays due to stock availability or postal delays and we advise that any orders placed for special occasions are made in good time. We will keep you updated about any long delays.
What if my order doesn't arrive?
- If you haven't received your order within 14 days of receiving your despatch confirmation email, firstly please go to www.royalmail.com/track-your-item and enter your tracking number. If you still have a query, then please contact us with your name and order number and we will look into it for you.
Will someone have to sign for delivery?
- No. However, as most orders will be too large to fit through your letterbox, the order may be returned to the local Royal Mail depot if nobody is home to accept the delivery and a card will be left if this happens. You can advise us of a safe place for your parcel to be left. Please use the tracking number provided to see where your parcel is as sometimes a card is not left by Royal Mail.
- Royal Mail will hold any items returned to the depot for 18 calendar days. After this time, items will be returned to us, at which time we will notify you that the order has been returned to us. Under these circumstances, no refunds will be given and chocolates can only be resent after paying another postage fee. You should be notified if Royal Mail were unable to deliver a parcel and be given the option to arrange redelivery.
Can I send chocolates to multiple addresses?
- For deliveries to multiple addresses, please order separately.
Do you ship to the Channel Islands?
- Yes we do.
Can I order online and collect my order directly from you?
- Yes. Customers can use our "click and collect" service and pick up an order direct from us at our factory on the outskirts of York: 22 Alan Farnaby Way, Sheriff Hutton Industrial Park, Sheriff Hutton, York, YO60 6PG. You will need to click on "Pick-up" at checkout.
- When your order is ready to be collected, we will notify you either by email or text.
Will my chocolates melt in transit?
- They could! Chocolate can melt in hot weather, so we recommend taking this into account when ordering during very hot weather. We may delay your delivery to try to avoid your chocolate melting. If we do this, we will email you to update you on the progress of your order.
